We have drafted a Ride At Your Own Risk policy. While we practice and encourage safe, in-control riding on any ride, including Mere Mortals Mountain Biking posted rides, you ride at your own risk and we are NOT responsible for the decisions you make mountain biking.

There is no shame in walking a section that you don't feel comfortable riding. We'd rather see our fellow riders happy, safe, and uninjured.

This also means any time you are on your bike riding with us, you will be wearing your helmet strapped and positioned correctly.

This means everyone that rides on a given trip sign a release of all liability to ride leaders, club, club members or fellow riders. It is always safer to ride with other people than alone, so riding with a group like Mere Mortals can give you peace of mind.

Recognizing Mountain Biking can be a dangerous activity potential resulting in injury and possible death. I (my name here) recognize this potential and am participating at my own risk, take full responsibility for my own actions and release Mere Mortals, its members and ride participants of any and all liability for any damages or injury sustained while on any club ride.

If you do not agree to this, unsubscribe to our mailing list.

The liability waiver is available here. You will be required to sign this by the ride leader. It is for everyone's protection, especially the rider leaders and the clinic leaders, and to keep everyone riding safely.
